Dunedin Municipal Cemetery

Dunedin Municipal Cemetery, Tampa Bay

The initial draw was a history of peafowl running wild amid the tombstones, but sadly, the bordering suburban “neighbors” complained about the otherworldly beck and cooing and had them “removed”. Still, the grounds are typical for west Central Florida, subtropical with a mix of young people and generational families. Strangely, there has been an outbreak of angel statues, as if someone had purchased armloads at a flea market and distributed them randomly throughout the park.
